Is Apple Pay secure?

Apple Pay is secure. A unique Device Account Number is securely stored on your Apple device, so you can make payments. Your card details are not held on your device, shared with the retailer or stored on Apple servers.

Payments can only be made once authenticated by you through Touch ID or your passcode.

If your iPhone or iPad is ever lost or stolen, you can use Find My iPhone to put your device in Lost Mode to suspend Apple Pay, or you can remove Apple Pay from your device completely. Whatever you decide to do, you’ll still be able to use your Tesco Bank card as normal while shopping.

You're protected if your card is lost, stolen or charged incorrectly.

For Debit Cards - Call us straight away on 0345 835 3353* to report your current account debit card lost or stolen.
