• How do I activate my Tesco Bank Credit Card?

    Once you have received your card, the easiest way to activate it is via our Mobile Banking App. Just download the app to your phone and it will guide you through the process.

    Alternatively, you can call us to activate your card. You will be asked to enter your 16 digit credit card number so please have this ready. If you’ve already registered for Online Banking you will also need to enter selected digits from your Security Number. If there are additional card holders on the account then this will also activate their cards.

    If you're not already registered for Online Banking, then please follow these instructions.

    Calls may be recorded. *This number may be included as part of any inclusive call minutes provided by your phone operator.

      I am unable to see how to activate my MasterCard thru the app. I cannot get any sense out of phoning as none of menu items relate to activation. Help.

      Same here. Brand new (first) card arrived, down loaded the app (no good to me as wanted it on my P.C.), followed 'instructions' and went round and round in a circle until I gave up! Tried phoning but couldn't see an option for activating a card? Need idiot proof instructions to activate card or who to ring to achieve the same!

      Hey @Technophobe , I'm sorry for the delay and to hear about the trouble you're having. You should be able to also access this through online banking on your PC. It's just that the activation option should appear on the app.
